EXPERIENCE

Communications, Engagement and Knowledge Mobilization Officer | Simon Fraser University’s Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue | February 2019 - Present

  • Leads multiple design projects with various internal and external clients and establishes visual style guides for multiple in-house initiatives, including two award-winning projects with the City of Burnaby and an in-house publication, Beyond Inclusion.

  • Develops and implements brand standards across all print and digital assets, including booklets, pamphlets, website, e-newsletters, social media graphics, event posters and other promotional materials.

  • Designs Semester in Dialogue posters and leads the implementation of the program’s content and communications and marketing strategy.

Designer | B.C. Provincial Election’s NDP Candidate Campaign | September 2020

  • Led the design and development of visual collateral for a candidate’s campaign during a general provincial election, including social media graphics, infographics, presentations, advertising material and reports.

Communications Designer | Word Vancouver | August 2018 - September 2019

  • Designed and developed a brand identity for Western Canada’s largest free literary festival in 2018 and 2019. Implemented brand standards on event posters, brochure, banners, social media graphics, and event advertisements on print and digital media.

  • Redesigned the website with new branding guidelines, curated website content and led the management of website pages.

  • Managed and coordinated 40+ volunteers for the 2018 festival, which attracted thousands of visitors.

Communications Coordinator | Arbutus Club | June 2016 - March 2018

  • Responsible for the visual identities of over 10+ departments in the Club with over 7,000 members. Led the Communications and Design department to produce and design bi-monthly magazines, menus, posters, and books.

  • Managed the Club’s online communications, including website and digital signage, social media accounts and email newsletters.
